Porsche 911 Revealed for 2019

So far, two prototypes of the alleged 992 generation Porsche 911 have been spotted testing on the streets, and online. These examples, with virtually no camouflage, or disguise.

In this case, we have a red rendition of the 992. Although, up-close a few areas here and there are still under wrap, but these latest images give us a pretty clear reveal of what the possible new model will look like.

Of the two models spotted in these recent photos, it shows the blue model with a sports-style exhaust, leading us to believe this is the Porsche 911 S model. The red model is shown with a quad-style exhaust. This 992 model 911 is given a stronger, stiffer platform, which is able to incorporate hybrid-type powertrains. Due to this newer, updated platform the 992 is slightly longer, with wider wheel arches. There is a redesigned, evolutionary front bumper, with larger intakes on both corners. LED headlamps are included in this rendition. In the rear, there is a full-width light bar connected to a set of slim taillights.

992 base is expected to produce around 400 horsepower, with the 992 S around 450 horsepower. The top of the range Turbo S will be around 620 horsepower. A hybrid version, which is a first in the models history, will allegedly pack a whopping 700 horsepower. We should expect to see the new 992 Carrera debut in October at the Paris Motor Show.
