The new sixth generation BMW 7 series has arrived, and it is very tech savvy. At first sight, not too much has changed from the fifth generation, except BMW has managed to shave off about 190 pounds from it’s flagship sedan. BMW has introduced its new “Carbon Core” platform; which is a combination of reinforced plastic, high-strength steel, and aluminum.

BMW will also roll out a 740e xDrive plug-in hybrid, which will have a 2.0 liter turbo four paired with an electric engine.
BMW has put very much emphasis on the technology of the vehicle. The rear seats will have a touch screen on each seat, as well as the driver will have a massive touch screen on the dash. Even the key fob will have a mini touchscreen!
The rear armrest will get a wireless phone charger, the rearview mirror also features a gesture control system, which allows you to answer/hangup phone calls or adjust multimedia volume.
